History
A mediados del siglo XIX el lugar tenía contabilizada una población de 150 habitantes. Aparece descrito en el octavo volumen del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar de Pascual Madoz de la siguiente manera:
El 10 de febrero de 1965 ocurrió la catástrofe ferroviaria de Grisén.

Murallas de Grisén, del siglo XVIII, sobre las que encima va el Canal Imperial de Aragón para poder pasar el río Jalón.
Estación de Grisén, inaugurada en 1863, por la Compañía de Ferrocarriles M.Z.A.
