Villaquilambre (Spanish pronunciation: [biʎakiˈlambɾe]) (Villaquirame in Leonese language) is a municipality located in the Province of León, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2025 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 18,905.

History
Villaquilambre es un municipio situado en el alfoz de la capital leonesa, separado de la misma por la denominada Ronda Este. Compuesto de varias poblaciones, algunas de ellas conforman un mismo casco urbano con la ciudad de León, donde no hay solución de continuidad. Tal es el caso de Navatejera, situada justo al norte de la capital, sin separación de la misma, o Villaobispo de las Regueras, separada del Campus Universitario de León por la mencionada Ronda Este. La capital de Villaquilambre, la población homónima, forma un continuo al norte con Navatejera. Por el territorio municipal discurre el Torío, río que confluye, ya en la capital leonesa, con el Bernesga.
Monuments
Artísticamente destacan la villa romana de la localidad de Navatejera, con restos de un asentamiento agrario romano satélite de la Legio VII, y bellos mosaicos. También cabe destacar la belleza de la ermita de Villaquilambre entre otras construcciones religiosas.

Buses
Por el municipio pasa la línea León-Bilbao, y sobre ella la línea única de Cercanías León de Renfe. Esta sirve para el transporte diario de trabajadores y estudiantes rumbo a la capital leonesa, aunque también destaca su uso turístico para visitar bellos pueblos de la ribera del Torío y el Curueño. El ferrocarril destaca sobre todo por el famoso y lujoso Transcantábrico que viaja por dicha línea rumbo a Santiago de Compostela.
