Salas de Bureba is a municipality and town located in the province of Burgos, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 143 inhabitants.
History
Villa, en la cuadrilla de Caderechas, una de las siete en que se dividía la Merindad de Bureba perteneciente al partido de Bureba. Jurisdicción de realengo con regidor pedáneo.
A la caída del Antiguo Régimen queda constituida como ayuntamiento constitucional del mismo nombre en el partido de Briviesca, región de Castilla la Vieja; contaba entonces con 441 habitantes.
