History
Hacia mediados del siglo XIX, el lugar tenía contabilizada una población de 169 habitantes. La localidad aparece descrita en el decimoquinto volumen del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar de Pascual Madoz de la siguiente manera:
Monuments
Iglesia de la Asunción de Nuestra Señora. Con interesante artesonado de madera. En ella se veneran las imágenes del Santísimo Cristo de los Milagros y de San Antonio de Padua.
Casa grande, típica casona molinesa del siglo XVIII, en muy buen estado, si bien cuenta con elementos( ventanas de aluminio persianas de pvc y algunos otros)que no están en consonancia con el estilo arquitectónico de la construcción.
Ermita de la Soledad. Se encuentra a la entrada del pueblo, en ella se guardan las imágenes de un Cristo yacente y de la Virgen de la Soledad.
