Tierga is a municipality located in the province of Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 221 inhabitants.
History
Fue ciudad celtíbera de los lusones conocida con el nombre de Tertakom que emitió su propia moneda.
A mediados del siglo XIX la villa tenía contabilizada una población de 274 habitantes. Aparece descrita en el decimocuarto volumen del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar de Pascual Madoz de la siguiente manera:
