Monòver (Valencian pronunciation: [moˈnɔveɾ], locally [muˈnɔve]; Spanish: Monóvar [moˈnoβaɾ]) is a municipality in the comarca of Vinalopó Mitjà in the Valencian Community, Spain.
History
Históricamente ha sido una ciudad con especial relevancia tras la Revolución Industrial en España, especialmente en el sector zapatero y de manufacturas. Además es conocida como la "ciudad de Azorín", ya que este escritor nació en su término municipal, el 8 de junio de 1873.
