Manzanal de los Infantes (Spanish pronunciation: [manθaˈnal de los iɱˈfantes]) is a municipality located in the province of Zamora, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 182 inhabitants.

Origins
El topónimo Manzanal, al igual que los denominados Cerezal, parece inscribirse en un tipo muy difundido en el área leonesa, el constituido por el nombre de un árbol en singular, femenino y con o sin artículo. En este sentido, "la manzanal" sería "el manzano", al igual que "la cerezal" sería "el cerezo".
El gentilicio de Manzanal de los Infantes es manzanalino.
History
El municipio está formado por las localidades de Donadillo, Dornillas, Lanseros, Manzanal de los Infantes, Otero de Centenos y Sejas de Sanabria. Tiene una superficie de 64,54 km² con una población de 143 habitantes (INE 2011) y una densidad de 2,22 hab/km².
