Fresno de la Vega (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈfɾesno ðe la ˈβeɣa]), Fresnu de la Veiga in Leonese language, is a municipality located in the province of León, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 645 inhabitants. Fresno is known locally for its unique variety of large Spanish peppers, called morrón. The village has a small market which sells retail quantities of locally grown produce. During the last Sunday of September the village hosts a 'Pepper Fair'.

Los terrenos de Fresno de la Vega limitan con los de Cabreros del Río al norte, Cubillas de los Oteros al noreste, Morilla de los Oteros al este, Pajares de los Oteros al sureste, Cabañas y Valencia de Don Juan al sur, Villamañán al suroeste, Villacé al oeste y Benamariel al noroeste.
Posee una vega muy fértil y consecuencia de ello es el cultivo de todo tipo de hortalizas, especialmente del pimiento morrón.
