Esterri d'Àneu (Catalan pronunciation: [esˈtɛri ˈðanew]) is a town and municipality in Pallars Sobirà county in Catalonia. It has a population of 917 (register office, 2025) . It is situated on the right bank of the Noguera Pallaresa river above the reservoir of La Torrassa. It is linked to Sort by the C-147 road. It is the site of a hydroelectric power station.

Hasta la reforma de la nomenclatura municipal de 1916 el municipio se llamaba Esterri de Aneu ó Areo. En dicha fecha su nombre fue modificado por el de Esterri de Aneu(pronunciado ['a.new]).
