Castiello de Jaca (in Aragonese: Castiello de Chaca) is a municipality located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 198 inhabitants. It is serviced by the Jaca-Astun bus. There are 2 restaurants/bars. Recent developments have seen the size of the town increase greatly.
History
El casco urbano se encuentra emplazado en la ladera de una montaña en la margen derecha del río Aragón en el Valle de Canfranc (hallándose en su término municipal la vía de acceso al valle de La Garcipollera). Pertenece también a su término municipal la localidad de Aratorés, con 32 habitantes en 2020.
El núcleo principal queda dividido en dos partes o barrios por el barranco de Casadioses, que desemboca en el río Aragón.
