Boada de Campos is a municipality located in the province of Palencia, Castile and León, Spain. It is in the Tierra de Campos. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality had a population of 22 inhabitants.

Origins
El nombre Boada viene de boyada, palabra usada para referirse a un conjunto de bueyes o vacas. En la documentación que hace Ordoño II en el año 916 ya se menciona el pueblo como Boucita.
History
A la caída del Antiguo Régimen la localidad se constituye en municipio constitucional en el partido de Frechilla y que en el censo de 1842 contaba con 45 hogares y 234 vecinos.

Así se describe a Boada de Campos en la página 362 del tomo IV del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar, obra impulsada por Pascual Madoz a mediados del siglo XIX:
Monuments
Iglesia parroquial de Boada. La iglesia, de origen románico, fue reformada en el periodo mudéjar y, por tanto, posee también toques góticos. Está constituida por tres naves.
Ermita de Nuestra Señora del Castillo. Esta ermita, que está semiderruida y expoliada, se encuentra en una colina a unos 260 metros al sudeste del término municipal. Antes de que fuera robada, albergaba una escultura de la Virgen que databa del siglo XVI y está atribuida a Pedro de Bolduque.
