Bisaurri

Bisaurri (Spanish: [biˈsawri]), in Benasquese: Bisaúrri locally [bisaˈuri]) or in Aragonese: Bisagorri, is a municipality located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 248 inhabitants. Near modern Bisaurri is a cave known as Els Trocs, which is a significant archaeological site, dating from the Neolithic era.

En Bisaurri se encuentra la planta embotelladora que aprovecha las aguas del manantial de Veri, en San Martín de Veri.

Iglesia parroquial de San Cristóbal, de origen románico pero reformada en el siglo XVI.
Arqueología:
La evidencia arqueológica de la llegada de grupos neolíticos proviene principalmente de abrigos rocosos y cuevas, donde se encuentran herramientas de piedra pulida, vasijas de cerámica, granos de cereales y fauna como en la cueva Els Torc. Entre los restos de animales domésticos descubiertos, en particular caprinos, destaca una abundancia de ovejas.
