Origins
El término Yunclillos podría ser un diminutivo de Yuncos, pero en documentos mozárabes de 1161 aparece con los nombres de Onclelos y Oclelos. De acuerdo con dichos nombres, Yunclillos podría ser un diminutivo de fuente.
History
En los siglos XII y XIII aparece con frecuencia en diversos documentos mozárabes.
A mediados del siglo XIX, la villa tenía contabilizada una población de 558 habitantes. Aparece descrita en el decimosexto volumen del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar de Pascual Madoz de la siguiente manera:
