History
Su fundación se atribuye a navarros de Sangüesa.
En 1794, Vizcaínos era lugar de señorío, en el corregimiento de Burgos y el partido de Can de Muñó. Estaba gobernado por alcalde pedáneo.
A mediados del siglo XIX el lugar tenía contabilizada una población de 166 habitantes. Aparece descrito en el decimosexto volumen del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar de Pascual Madoz de la siguiente manera:
