Ventrosa is a village in the province and autonomous community of La Rioja, Spain. The municipality covers an area of 72.93 square kilometres (28.16 sq mi) and as of 2011 had a population of 68 people.

History

En el año 927 aparece Ventrosa, con la denominación de "Bendosa" , en falso el Voto de Fernán González, asociada a Canales de la Sierra.

En 1366 fue incluida entre las localidades del Señorío de Cameros, que sería cedido por Enrique II de Trastámara a Juan Ramírez de Arellano por su apoyo en la lucha contra Pedro I el Cruel.
