El Valle de Altomira is a municipality located in the province of Cuenca, Castile-La Mancha, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 323 inhabitants. It has been named after the Sierra de Altomira, a mountain range in Spain, which stretches between Guadalajara and Cuenca since 2010. Previously, it was called Puebla de Don Francisco after Francisco Ruiz-Jarabo, Minister of Justice between 1973 and 1975 during the Franco dictatorship, who was born in Garcinarro.
