History
Hasta principios del siglo XVII constituyó junto con Olandain el concejo de Uterga-Olandain, uno de los de la Valdizarbe. Entonces, los olandaindarras, con el apoyo del entonces párroco, Juan Beriain, se trasladaron a Uterga, quedando aquel despoblado.
