Torremocha de Jiloca

Torremocha de Jiloca is a municipality on the river Jiloca, located in the province of Teruel, Aragon, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 158 inhabitants. On January 12, 2021, a minimum temperature of −26.5 °C (−15.7 °F) was registered.
History
A mediados del siglo XIX, el lugar tenía contabilizada una población de 245 habitantes. Aparece descrito en el decimoquinto volumen del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar de Pascual Madoz de la siguiente manera:
Hasta la reforma de la nomenclatura municipal de 1916 el municipio se llamaba simplemente Torremocha. En dicha fecha su nombre fue modificado por el de Torremocha de Jiloca.
