Sotillo del Rincón is a municipality located in the province of Soria, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 231 inhabitants.

History
El Censo de Pecheros de 1528, en el que no se contaban eclesiásticos, hidalgos y nobles, registraba la existencia de 46 pecheros, es decir unidades familiares que pagaban impuestos. En el documento original figura la localidad como Sotillo y las Casillas.
A la caída del Antiguo Régimen la localidad se constituye en municipio constitucional, entonces conocido como El Sotillo en la región de Castilla la Vieja, partido de Soria que en el censo de 1842 contaba con 90 hogares y 370 vecinos. Hacia mediados del siglo XIX, el lugar tenía unas 95 casas. Aparece descrito en el decimocuarto volumen del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar de Pascual Madoz de la siguiente manera:
A mediados del siglo XIX crece el término del municipio porque incorpora a Molinos de Razón. Durante este periodo el nombre cambia de Sotillo a Sotillo del Rincón.
El 1 de junio de 1970 crece el término del municipio porque incorpora a Aldehuela del Rincón.
