History
El castillo de Sierra —así se llamaba a la fortaleza árabe— se conquistó en 1219 por el arzobispo de Toledo y un año más tarde es entregado en feudo a su primo Gil Garcés junto con los castillos de Serreilla y Mira formando un seudoseñorio que fue desmontado en 1231.

Monumento al Guerrillero. Una gran escultura y una placa recordatoria homenajean a los guerrilleros españoles que lucharon contra el fascismo. El asalto a Cerro Moreno y la muerte de doce guerrilleros fue uno de los motivos que facilitó la ubicación de este monumento en Santa Cruz de Moya en el año 1991.
La totalidad del valle sobre el Turia y la hoz que describe durante todo el recorrido por el municipio es de una enorme belleza.
