History
Su término municipal está formado por un solo núcleo de población, ocupa una superficie total de 28,55 km² y según los datos demográficos recogidos en el padrón municipal elaborado por el INE en el año 2025, cuenta con una población de 308 habitantes.
Monuments
Iglesia parroquial
Este edificio es el que destaca en el patrimonio arquitectónico del pueblo. Data del siglo XVII y fue construida bajo el poder de San Miguel de Arcángel, con un artesonado mudéjar que se conserva en la actualidad. Las imágenes del altar mayor destacan las de Santa Águeda, San Miguel, San Blas, La Dolorosa y un resucitado.
Arquitectura popular
En todo el pueblo dominan claras influencias árabes tanto en las viviendas como en las características calles estrechas, aunque también se pueden ver las adaptaciones a los tiempos actuales.

Fiestas:
Fiesta de San Miguel Arcángel: 29 de septiembre. Es la fiesta mayor del pueblo, donde destaca el baile típico de la Jota, las grandes corridas de toros y el baile ofrecido a los habitantes por la noche en el cual los instrumentistas son orquestas salmantinas. Fiesta Chica: 8 de mayo. Es la segunda fiesta importante del pueblo, en la que sus habitantes disfrutan de la hoguera típica de esta fiesta (ya que solo se celebra un día)y un convite de pastas y refresco ofrecido por el Ayuntamiento o en caso de que los haya por los mayordomos, además de un espectáclo de fuegos artificiales.
Gastronomía:
Los platos más destacados de San Miguel de Valero son los frejones, un plato formado por judías verdes y patatas cocidas con tocino. También se le añaden otros ingredientes como por ejemplo, carne cocida. También se cocinan patatas revolconas o meneás, consistentes en un guiso formado por patatas cocidas, ajo, pimentón y tocino frito, hasta que toman forma de puré.
