San Esteban del Molar is a municipality located in the province of Zamora, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 168 inhabitants.
History
La totalidad de su término municipal se integra dentro de la ZEPA Penillanuras-Campos Sur.
What to visit
Patrimonio:
Tiene la iglesia parroquial como edificio más significativo del municipio, situada en lo alto del pueblo y con una torre emblemática. En ella descansan figuras como la de la Virgen de las Candelas, la Virgen del Carmen y el Cristo de la Misericordia. Es de destacar el retablo mayor de la parroquia.
Fiestas patronales:
El Cristo de la Misericordia, actualmente celebrado el día 17 de mayo.
Su fiesta patronal en honor a la Virgen de las Candelas, el día 2 de febrero.
Además, se organizan unas jornadas culturales en verano con el nombre de "El trillo" en agosto.
