Sallent de Llobregat (Catalan pronunciation: [səˈʎen də ʎuβɾəˈɣat]) or Sallent is a municipality in the comarca of Bages, Province of Barcelona, in the Autonomous Community of Catalonia, Spain. The river Llobregat divides the municipality into two halves. Its main resources are mining and industry. It was the birthplace of Saint Anthony Mary Claret (1807–1870) and goalkeeper Joan Garcia (2001).

Sallent es un municipio antiguo, tal y como demuestra que en ese espacio se estableciera un poblado ibero. Documentos del año 1000 d. C. aseguran que la población era defendida desde el castillo antiguo.

El Carnaval de Sallent. Aparte del carnaval que tiene lugar en febrero, cada cinco años se realiza en Sallent un carnaval de verano de gran popularidad.
Les Enramades. Se celebra del Jueves de Corpus al siguiente lunes.
