History
La primera mención que se hace es en la concordia realizada entre enero y febrero de 1104, por el obispo de Huesca y el abad de Montearagón.
A mediados del siglo XIX, el lugar tenía contabilizada una población de 216 habitantes. Aparece descrito en el decimotercer volumen del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar de Pascual Madoz de la siguiente manera:
Monuments
Iglesia parroquial dedicada a Santa Ana de estilo gótico.
Ermita consagrada a san Felipe Neri en 1717.
Pozo de nieve, a la entrada de la población, de origen morisco. Presenta una peculiar bóveda sustentada en arcos entrecruzados.
Palacio del señorío de Salillas, con portada renacentista.
Molino de Burjamán (que en árabe significa "Torre del Perdón"). Construcción muy antigua a orillas del río Guatizalema, del que tomaba el agua mediante una acequia de unos tres kilómetros que nacía bajo la población de Salillas.
