En El Real de la Jara se puede disfrutar de todas las chacinas y productos derivados del cerdo ibérico, con la especialidad del «Guarrino frito» y el «Caldillo» de matanza. Además de todos los animales de caza como carne de venado, conejo, jabalí, etc. y de suculentos revueltos de setas de la zona.
También hay una importante industria quesera. En la repostería destacan los dulces caseros hechos con harina, miel o azúcar. Son famosas las virutas realeñas y los buñuelos de viento, además de otros pasteles como flores, madejitas, piñonates, roscos, etc.
