El Piñero (Spanish pronunciation: [el piˈɲeɾo]) is a municipality located in the province of Zamora, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 282 inhabitants.

Limita al norte con Gema y Sanzoles, al sur con Fuentespreadas y San Miguel de la Ribera, al este con Venialbo y al oeste con Jambrina.
