History
Es de fundación o repoblación medieval en tiempos de la Reconquista, y pertenece desde entonces a la Comunidad de Villa y Tierra de Sepúlveda, en su ochavo de Bercimuel. Sepúlveda y su tierra pertenecieron siempre al realengo, sin solución de continuidad.
