El municipio está compuesto de 4 concejos: Echagüe, Mendívil, Olóriz (donde tiene su sede el Ayuntamiento) y Solchaga y 3 lugares habitados: Bariáin, Oricin y Eristain.
Aunque ya desolados e inexistentes, cabe mencionar, para evitar confusiones, que este lugar es diferente de otros dos con el mismo nombre pero localizados en el Valle de Arce: Olóriz de Yuso (o Olóriz Alto, Olorizgoiti) y Olóriz de Suso (o Olóriz Bajo, Olorizbeiti).
