Molinaseca is a village and municipality located in the region of El Bierzo (province of León, Castile and León, Spain) . According to the 2010 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 818 inhabitants. It is located on the French Way, the most popular path of the Camino de Santiago. Its name originates from the old mills on the Meruelo River that supported the town’s economy during the Middle Ages.

Está catalogado como Uno de Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España desde el año 2021 y pertenece desde entonces a la asociación homónima.

Patrimonio:
Declarada BIC el 6 de septiembre de 2021 como Villa de Molinaseca.
Santuario de las Angustias. Situado junto al Camino de Santiago, es de estilo barroco, guardando en su interior una bella piedad del siglo XVII.
Iglesia de San Nicolás de Bari. De origen barroco, está erigida en trazas neoclásicas.
Puente de los Peregrinos. Posee siete ojos, estando situado en pleno Camino Francés del Camino de Santiago, del que constituye un paso obligado.
Casonas y palacios. Jalonan la localidad con sus blasones diversas casonas.
Arquitectura tradicional. Destacan las casas de dos plantas con balcones de corredor.
Fiestas:
Destaca la Fiesta del Agua, declarada de interés turístico provincial.
