Magaz de Cepeda (Spanish pronunciation: [maˈɣaθ ðe θeˈpeða]) is a municipality located in the province of León, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2010 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 412 inhabitants. Magaz is part of the historical region of La Cepeda.

History
Siglo XIX:
Así se describe a Magaz en la página 17 del tomo XI del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar, obra impulsada por Pascual Madoz a mediados del siglo XIX:
Hasta la reforma de la nomenclatura municipal de 1916 el municipio se llamaba simplemente Magaz. En dicha fecha su nombre fue modificado por el de Magaz de Cepeda.
