Jirueque (Spanish pronunciation: [xiˈɾwe.ke]) is a municipality located in the province of Guadalajara, Castile-La Mancha, Spain. If the 2004 census (INE) is to be believed, the municipality has a population of 84 inhabitants.

History
De acuerdo a Antonio Herrera Casado durante la Edad Media pasó de la Tierra de Atienza al Común de Jadraque, señorializándose en la Baja Edad Media.
A mediados del siglo XIX, el lugar tenía contabilizada una población de 134 habitantes. Aparece descrito en el octavo volumen del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar de Pascual Madoz de la siguiente manera:
En la actualidad tiene dos espacios que se pueden usar que son el polideportivo " las canchas" y el parque público.
Monuments
Cuenta con una iglesia bajo la advocación de San Bartolomé, del siglo XVI, en cuyo interior se encuentra el sepulcro "El dorado". También hay una ermita en honor a la virgen de la Soledad.
