Isaba (Basque: Izaba) is a town and municipality located in the province and autonomous community of Navarre, northern Spain. Is the main town of the Roncal valley and is sited in the Pyrenees of the autonomous Region.
History
La villa se ubica en una ladera de un promontorio en la confluencia de los ríos Uztárroz, Belagua y Belabarce que, a partir de ahí, forman el río Esca y al pie de la peña de Ardibidiguinea y cerca de la de Ezkaurre, está formado por las típicas casas de montaña con empinados tejados a dos y a cuatro aguas. Es el cuarto municipio más extenso de Navarra con 146,89 kilómetros cuadrados.
Su gentilicio es isabarrés/esa[cita requerida] o izabarra, tanto en masculino como en femenino.
