Hornillos del Camino is a municipality located in the province of Burgos, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 70 inhabitants. The town is along the French Way, the most popular of the routes of the Way of St. James, the ancient pilgrimage route.

History
En 2015, en la aprobación por la Unesco de la ampliación del Camino de Santiago en España a «Caminos de Santiago de Compostela: Camino francés y Caminos del Norte de España», España envió como documentación un «Inventario Retrospectivo - Elementos Asociados» (Retrospective Inventory - Associated Components) en el que en el n.º 1168 figura la localidad de Hornillos del Camino, con un ámbito de elementos asociados.

Fiestas:
Hornillos cuenta con las siguientes celebraciones:
Fiesta del Gallo: Tiene lugar a finales de julio y está basada en una antigua leyenda local, que cuenta como unos franceses llegaron al pueblo en la época de la Guerra de Independencia y robaron todas las gallinas.
Fiestas de san Román: son las celebraciones del santo local, en el mes de noviembre.
Fiesta del peregrino: se celebra el 25 de julio y consta de verbena música gastronomía juegos antiguos populares y masajes
