History

A mediados del siglo XIX, el lugar contaba con una población censada de 39 habitantes. La localidad aparece descrita en el séptimo volumen del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar de Pascual Madoz de la siguiente manera:

Hacia 1982 cambió su nombre oficial de Estarás por el de Estaràs.
