Desde las elecciones municipales de 2011, el ayuntamiento de Cumbres de Enmedio está conformado por dos concejales socialistas y un concejal del Partido Popular.
Si hablamos de alcaldes y Cumbres de Enmedio, inevitablemente se ha de hablar de Eulogio Páez, quien fuere alcalde del municipio desde las primeras elecciones democráticas hasta las elecciones de 2019, a las cuales no se presentó tras 40 años en el cargo.
