Cantiveros is a municipality located in the province of Ávila, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2006 census (INE), the municipality had a population of 176 inhabitants.
History
Hacia mediados del siglo XIX, la villa tenía contabilizada una población de 189 habitantes. Aparece descrita en el quinto volumen del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar de Pascual Madoz de la siguiente manera:
