Barchín del Hoyo is a municipality in Cuenca, Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It has a population of 123. The town was the subject of the song "Little Spanish Town," released by English musician Conor B in 2012.

History
En el término municipal se ha encontrado un poblado que probablemente date de la Edad del Hierro y habría perdurado hasta ser destruido por Aníbal a finales del siglo III a. C. También existen unas ruinas de un asentamiento romano posterior.
Barchín recibió el título de villa de los Reyes Católicos en 1478 o en 1479 por el apoyo que dio a la reina Isabel en su guerra con Juana la Beltraneja en contra de su señor natural, el marqués de Villena (en aquel momento señor de Alarcón, lugar de donde dependía Barchín).
A mediados del siglo XIX, la villa tenía contabilizada una población de 926 habitantes. Aparece descrita en el cuarto volumen del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar de Pascual Madoz de la siguiente manera:
