History
Arnes (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈaɾnes]) is a municipality in the comarca of la Terra Alta in Catalonia, Spain. It has a population of 461 (register office, 2025) .
Monuments
Ayuntamiento: construido en 1584 y considerado como una de las construcciones civiles más relevantes del renacimiento catalán.
La iglesia parroquial dedicada a Santa Magdalena, de estilo barroco. Fue edificada sobre las ruinas de una iglesia gótica en el año 1693. Consta de tres naves y un campanario de torre. Tiene capillas laterales. Los restos del ábside de la antigua iglesia se pueden ver en la calle San Antonio.
