Arén (Spanish: [aˈɾen]), in Catalan: Areny de Noguera (Catalan: [aˈɾeɲ de noˈɣeɾɛ]), or in Aragonese: Arén de Noguera, is a municipality located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain. According to the 2018 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 318 inhabitants.

History
Arén perteneció al condado de Ribagorza y fue plaza militar hasta finales del siglo XVIII, cuando la guarnición se mudó a Benasque. Durante la Guerra de Sucesión fue destruida y su población altamente diezmada a causa de los abusos que cometieron ambos contingentes.
