Alpeñés (Spanish pronunciation: [al.pe.ˈɲes]) is a municipality located in the province of Teruel, Aragon, Spain. According to the 2018 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 22 inhabitants.

History
En el año 1248, por privilegio de Jaime I, este lugar se desliga de la dependencia de Daroca, pasando a formar parte de Sesma de Barrachina en la Comunidad de Aldeas de Daroca, que en 1838 fue disuelta. En 1962 se instaló el tendido eléctrico en el pueblo, ya que hasta entonces no disponía de él.
A mediados del siglo XIX el lugar tenía contabilizada una población de 252 habitantes. Aparece descrito en el segundo volumen del Diccionario geográfico-estadístico-histórico de España y sus posesiones de Ultramar de Pascual Madoz de la siguiente manera:
