Alàs i Cerc (Catalan pronunciation: [aˈlaz i ˈseɾk]) is a municipality in the comarca of Alt Urgell, Lleida, Catalonia, Spain. It has a population of 320 (register office, 2025) .

History

Según datos de 2009 su población era de 391 habitantes. El municipio se formó en 1970 al unirse las poblaciones de Serch y de Alás.

Se sabe que en Alás existió un castillo, documentado en 1538, del que no han quedado restos. La iglesia parroquial está dedicada a Sant Esteve. Se cree que es de origen románico. Consta de una sola nave con capillas laterales y cubierta con bóveda de crucería. La iglesia de Sant Just i Sant Pastor en Serch es también románica, de nave única y con ábside semicircular.

Dentro del término municipal se encuentra la ermita de Sant Antoni del Tossal. Está situada en la cima de una montaña conocida como Miralles. Fue edificada por un indiano en 1930 en estilo modernista.

En la iglesia de Santa María de les Peces, documentada en 1077, se venera una imagen policromada de la Virgen de estilo gótico. El templo es de estilo románico y tiene una sola nave con un ábside semicircular. Tiene adosado un campanario de planta cuadrada.

Alás celebra su fiesta mayor fin de semana del tercer domingo de julio mientras que Serch lo hace en junio.
